If you are unsure of what to read or are in a reading slump and looking to get out of it, one of these books may be for you! There are many books which are trending on booktok, ranging from fantasy to romance. House of Flame and Shadow by Sarah J Maas was one the most anticipated books of 2024, being released late January. If you haven't read it yet you should! It is the third instalment in the Crescent City series and is a fantasy series following main character Bryce Quinlan. It is an interesting, fun read with action and romance. This book was one of my five star reads of the year after waiting so long for the book to be released. Whilst not currently trending, but popular on booktok, are the other series which have been written by Sarah J Maas, these include the Throne of Glass series and  A Court of Thornes and Roses series. All of these series I have enjoyed with Throne of Glass being my favourite series to date. They are all fantasy novels containing some romance and are an enjoyable read!
